Apple Resourcing are currently recruiting for a Junior Accounts Administrator to join our client, a global Freight Forwarder, on a full-time permanent basis.
This is a junior role so training will be provided. Working hours are Monday-Friday 9am-5:30pm, salary up to £20,000pa.
Responsibilities:
- Processing of Supplier invoices
- Credit Control, chasing clients for payment of their overdue invoices within the agreed credit terms.
- Processing of supplier invoices
- Completing and keeping up to date the Green Form schedule (internally queried supplier invoices).
- Completing and keeping up to date with the Blue form schedule (immediate payments)
- Completing and keeping up to day the Pink Form schedule (internally queried sales invoices).
- Noting on Sage the communications with clients
- Sending clients regular statements of account
- Regular meeting with your line manager to discuss the current debtor status’
- Answering and transferring calls to the correct department if required / taking messages
- Assisting with Purchase Ledger & Sales ledger activities
- Filing accounts / admin paperwork
Requirements;
- Previous office/admin experience is essential
- Previous accounts experience would be advantageous
- Must be computer literate
- Excellent numerical skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Flexible approach to working hours is essential due to the nature of the Business
- Eager to learn new skills
