Description

Apple Resourcing are looking for a Purchasing Assistant on a full-time permanent basis for our client, a UK leading Importer and Wholesale Distributor, based in Basildon for an immediate start.

Working hours are Monday- Friday 9am-5pm, Salary NEG DOE + benefits !

Responsibilities;

  • Working in a busy import purchasing department
  • Processing purchase orders
  • Checking and arranging payments of invoices, samples, claims etc
  • Liaising with suppliers, internal departments and foreign offices
  • Inputting data onto mainframe
  • Maintaining and updating records

Requirements;

  • Previous purchasing experience would be advantageous
  • Previous Admin experience
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Computer literate
  • Experience working within the logistics sector would be an advantage
